What a lovely restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome by all the staff. The food was very very good, a great range in the menu, beautifully presented and simply delicious. Thank you Angela, and your team, for a lovely evening. That's another Christmas tradition set in place !

We had a lovely post-graduation dinner at Angela's. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. All in all, a perfect end to a special day! Many thanks indeed to the restaurant staff.

My dining experience @Angela's was one of the best I've had in years! My first course, foie gras w/ pickled pears... well suffice it to say, each bite was a dance party in my mouth. The entrée, venison on a parsnip puree, was tender and delicious. Dessert was a gorgeous sorbet and chocolate mousse.
The restaurant is small and cozy with an intimate atmosphere. Angela was a beautiful hostess, whom I enjoyed chatting with almost as much as I enjoyed the food. My only regret is that I visited @Angela's on my last evening in Exeter. If I had gone sooner I would have returned as many times as I could to sample the other dishes on the menu before returning home!
Thank you Angela and hubby for a dining experience I will never forget.

Angela's is a very special restaurant in Exeter. It is a particular favourite of my French wife who comes from Brittany and we tend to visit it on birthdays etc. As soon as you enter the restaurant you receive a very warm welcome from Angela. We love eating fish and always choose one of the main fish courses. We have never been disappointed. Last night for instance we both chose halibut and scallops. Quite superb. The food is always beautifully presented. They also have a very good choice of wines. The deserts are mouth watering. After the meal we talked to Angela's husband, the chef, and complimented him on the food. We would recommend any food lover to this gem in Exeter.

The restaurant itself was very tastefully decorated, the host was very friendly and welcoming, service was first class and the food was fabulous, tasty and well presented, with time between each course to allow you to have enjoyed the last one without being rushed. Overall a great experience with a personal touch to acknowledge my birthday. Definitely a first class restaurant and one I will be visiting again on our next visit to Exeter.

Warm welcome and good service throughout. Wine list slightly limited for me on whites, but good range of desert wine. Starters were good. The sea bass was a lovely piece of fish, rather over powered by lots of ginger. The sticky toffee pudding was more un-sticky. Overall a good evening. I felt the decor was tired. Richard the chef came over for a chat telling us it's important to listen to your customers. Although amicable I didn't get the impression he appreciated our comments.
